Mission Statement:
The Central Valley Chronic Disease Partnership is a group of individuals from organizations based in the Central Valley who are concerned about the health and wellness of local communities.

2007 Event Summary
“An Ounce of Prevention = A Pound of Cure”
The Symposium, developed by the Central Valley Chronic Disease Partnership, covered practical approaches and resources to assist providers in working with those who are at risk for pre-diabetes, diabetes and childhood obesity. Speakers and panel members highlighted prevention efforts focusing on healthy eating and active living as well and quality improvement in the health care setting.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Fundraiser in the Central ValleyThe Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation event is a 5K Walk Fundraiser. This event will be held at Woodward Park at the Mountain View section on Saturday, June 2. Registration will begin at 8:00 am and walk will begin at 9:00 am. Breakfast and lunch will be served for free. Checks can be made out to JDRF.
